As the fine for speed limitation increases with every exceeded kilometre, it is necessary always to remember about general speed limitations that are valid almost all over the island's territory:

• within inhabited localities – 50 km/h
• outside inhabited localities – 80 km/h
• highways – 100 km/h

Apart from the general limitations, the speed can be set according to the corresponded traffic signs, so pay close attention to them.

Parking lots in Ayia Napа

There are both paid and free parking lots in the city. A disadvantage is that these parking lots are too small and it's often hard to find an empty parking space where you need. As for the fuel itself, there are no gas fuel stations in Cyprus at all. You can fill your car with diesel engine, RON95 and RON98 petrol. Note that you mustn't have a full gas container in your car going to a long trip.
